INDIA
Rajasthan is where we start: Jodhpur under the walls of Mehrangarh, whose museum holds some of the finest Rajput miniature painting anywhere, then Udaipur and the Sufi music festival at Nagaur’s fort. The block printers of Bagru still work by hand, and we can arrange a day at their tables. In Delhi, the Kiran Nadar Museum of Art, and each February India Art Fair. In winter, the Kochi-Muziris Biennale takes over old spice warehouses in Kerala. The south asks for at least as much time as the north.
